When life brings problems upon us, we sometimes feel unable to manage, lose confidence in ourselves and are affected by tension and anxiety. Meditation and mindfulness are ways of shedding cares and stresses reaching a tranquil state that refreshes and strengthens the mind.  It deeply relaxes the body and can bring confidence.  Qualified in Meditation and Mindfulness enables me to create my own unique sessions.

Different forms of meditation and mindfulness include:

Chakra Healing Meditation.

The chakra system originates from one of India’s ancient scriptures called the Vedas. In yoga and meditation the term ‘chakra’ refers to wheels of energy running throughout the body. There are seven main centres and each correspond to nerve centres and specific organs. They affect your physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual states of being and influence all areas of your life.

Regular chakra practice is essential to keep us healthy, happy and vibrant. Chakra self-healing meditation uses breathing, affirmations, guided imagery and visualisation techniques.

Body and Breath Awareness Meditation.

This meditation can promote breath and body awareness, stress awareness and relaxation. It uses breathing exercises, visualisation techniques to help release stress and tension in your body.

Loving-Kindness Meditation (includes self-appreciation)

This meditation uses self-care techniques that can boost well-being and reduce stress. Regular practice can help you to increase your capacity for forgiveness, connection to others and self-acceptance and love.

Please note that these are actual treatment times. Please allow an extra 15-20 minutes for assessment and getting dressed/undressed etc.
